1. Who we are

Jyro operates jyro.design and the Jyro Blender add-on. Privacy inquiries: privacy@jyro.design.

2. Information we collect

License and activation data

When you use Jyro, the add-on contacts our license API and may send:

  • Machine or device identifiers
  • Plugin key and version
  • License key (when activating a purchase)
  • Activation status and plan type (Lite / Pro)

Purchase data

Payments are processed by Paddle. We receive order metadata needed to deliver licenses, such as email, order ID, product purchased, and subscription status. We do not store full card numbers.

Website data

Our hosting provider may log IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps for security and reliability.

Support communications

If you email support, we retain message content and contact details to resolve your request.

3. How we use information

  • Issue, verify, and revoke Lite / Pro licenses
  • Enforce subscription device limits
  • Process refunds and support requests
  • Maintain security and prevent fraud or abuse
  • Improve product stability and documentation

4. Legal basis (EEA / UK)

Where applicable, we process data based on:

  • Contract performance — delivering the license service you purchased
  • Legitimate interests — fraud prevention, security, and product improvement
  • Legal obligation — tax and accounting records

5. Sharing and processors

We share data only when necessary with:

  • Paddle — payment processing and subscription management
  • Hosting and CMS providers — license records stored on Jyro servers and CMS (Strapi)

We do not sell your personal information.

6. International transfers

Your data may be processed outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

7. Retention

  • License records — kept while the license is active and as required afterward by law
  • Purchase records — retained for tax and accounting requirements
  • Support emails — kept as long as needed to resolve the issue, then deleted on request where applicable

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export personal data, or object to certain processing. Contact privacy@jyro.design. EEA/UK users may lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority.

9. Cookies

This site may use essential cookies for basic functionality such as language preference. jyro.design does not currently use third-party advertising cookies.

10. Children

Jyro is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
